My first tweet to a celebrity. I didn’t want to do it. I think the man is funny but over the last few days, this sort of thing has emerged in his twitter stream. Message to the entertainment industry: Your talent is not in the political arena. Please limit your public exposure to acting, singing and dancing and then go away until the spotlight is flicked back on.

    I, too, have dabbled in the celebrity-following Twitter arts. Disappointing, isn’t it? Yes they should stick to whatever it is that made them “famous” and STFU about everything else. Everything. Else.

    • I fell in love with Jane Alexander when I saw her play Calamity Jane on TV way back when. then I found out that she was one of those Maplethorp-y “anything for art” types. Nothing since could be as intense as that heartbreak.

  2. I’m finding myself with fewer and fewer celebrities I ever want to see again in any format. This can’t be career enhancing for them. It’s a mystery why they do it.

  3. I’m with Linda. Who and what is Patton Oswalt? Have I been living under a rock? No, just western Pennsylvania, but I’ve never heard of him/her.
